Built on Conversations, Not Promises

We started Clearvisi Onnation in 2018 because we kept seeing the same pattern. Businesses would come to us frustrated—not because they lacked financial knowledge, but because their communication systems made everything harder than it needed to be.

One client told us they'd spent three weeks trying to coordinate a simple approval process across departments. Another mentioned losing a partnership opportunity because their payment terms weren't clear in their communications. These aren't dramatic stories, but they're real ones.

So we built something different. A finance service that understands business communication isn't just about sending messages—it's about making sure the right information reaches the right people at the right time, in ways they can actually use.

How We Got Here

2018-2019

Starting Small

We worked with seven clients that first year. All of them had similar complaints about their existing finance communications. Too many platforms, too much confusion, not enough clarity when it mattered. We spent more time listening than selling.

2020-2022

Finding Our Focus

The lockdown changed everything. Suddenly everyone needed better remote communication tools, but we noticed something—most businesses didn't need fancier features. They needed systems that worked reliably and made sense to their teams without extensive training.

2023-2025

Growing Together

We now work with businesses across Cape Town and beyond. Our approach hasn't changed much—we still prioritize understanding your actual workflow before suggesting solutions. That's probably why most of our clients come from referrals.

What Guides Our Work

We're not interested in being everything to everyone. Instead, we focus on doing a few things consistently well, especially when it comes to helping businesses communicate their financial processes more effectively.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

  • We respond to messages within business hours, not days later. If we're working on your system, you'll know what's happening.
  • We explain things in regular language. Finance has enough jargon already without us adding more layers of confusion.
  • We tell you when something won't work for your situation. Better to be honest upfront than disappoint you later.
  • We build systems that your team can actually use. If it requires a manual to understand basic functions, we've failed.

Working With Us

We're a small team based in Durbanville. Most of us have worked in different industries before landing here, which means we've seen communication problems from multiple angles—retail, manufacturing, professional services, you name it.

Direct Communication

When you contact us, you're talking to someone who actually works on your account. We don't have multiple layers of account managers who need to "check with the technical team." The person answering your question usually has the answer—or they know exactly who does.

Realistic Timelines

We give you actual timeframes based on our current workload and the complexity of what you need. If something will take three weeks, we say three weeks—not "we'll try to rush it" and then miss the deadline anyway.

Ongoing Support

Setting up your system is just the beginning. We stick around to make adjustments as your business changes. Most of our clients have been with us for years, not because they're locked into contracts, but because the relationship works for them.

Local Understanding

Being based in Cape Town means we understand the specific challenges South African businesses face—from load shedding contingencies to working across multiple time zones with international partners. These details matter when building communication systems.

Let's Talk About Your Situation

Every business has different communication needs. Some need help streamlining invoice approvals. Others want better ways to coordinate between finance and operations teams. We'd rather understand your specific challenges before suggesting anything.

No pressure, no sales pitch—just a conversation about whether we might be able to help.
